The Hardware Divisions of the team are the ones in charge of the physical implementations of the Underwater Vehicle. These divisions are divided into the Mechanical Structures Division and the Electric System Division. The Mechanical Structures divisions oversee designing the whole vehicle in CAD software, as well as doing different analysis on the physical structure. Meanwhile, the Electric Systems Division is responsible for creating all the circuits to distribute the power in different voltages to the different components and the safety measures to turn off the vehicle in case of emergency. Both divisions look into the opportunities to improve the reliability of the structure and power systems in the vehicle to achieve our performance goals.
